Boggy Creek Show

Australia’s mountain cattlemen are famous for their horseriding, whip cracking and light-hearted humour. Watch them perform in the enthralling Boggy Creek Show, a two-hour display of horsemanship and other skills.

With the magnificent Snowy Mountains as a backdrop, you’ll see riders perform amazing feats on their horses as well as entertaining displays of cattle mustering, working dogs, sheep shearing and whip cracking.

And you’ll laugh along with the cattlemen’s charming humour and the antics of various animals in the show, which is masterfully choreographed to the award-winning The Man from Snowy River movie soundtrack.

The Golden Globe-nominated movie is based on poet Banjo Paterson’s epic of the same name and showcases the revered riding skills of stockmen in the high country. Reservations are essential for the Boggy Creek Show.

The show is near Tumbarumba, a small town in southwest NSW surrounded by vineyards, trout streams, cattle and sheep stations and eucalypt forests.  From Sydney the drive is five hours.a
